Elizabeth Armstrong

Elizabeth Armstrong joined the faculty at the University of Maine School of Social Work in 2017. Her research focuses on relationships between social problem construction and policy and program responses to those problems. Armstrong has worked with Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center since 2019, focusing on policy and programmatic responses to the opioid epidemic. At the School of Social Work, she teaches classes on research methods and human behavior in the social environment.
