National Intern Day
As the summer of 2024 progresses, our Maine Government Internship Program interns have been making an impact across the state of Maine.
Ava Shapiro
Maine Government Summer Intern with the Dept. of Education, Ava Shapiro, enjoyed a day of fun activities and bonding for those who help contribute to MOOSE (Maine Online Open-Source Education), an online module learning platform for students who require more alternative learning methods. She interviewed various teachers and curriculum developers who designed different MOOSE modules and/or used it in their classrooms.
MOOSE provides free, optional resources for PreK-12 educators that are aligned to the Maine Learning Results.
