Teresa Johnson
Teresa Johnson’s research focuses on the human dimensions of marine fisheries. Dr. Johnson’s research is concerned with (1) stakeholder engagement and different forms of expertise in policy-making, including scientists’ research- based knowledge and fishermen’s experience-based knowledge, and (2) the design of effective fisheries management institutions, and (3) responses to social and environmental changes in fishing communities. Professor Johnson was a Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center Faculty Fellow for 2016-17.
