Andrew Fournier
As a data abstractor and research assistant, Andrew Fournier parses through medical documents and law enforcement records to summarize relevant information for individuals who die from violent deaths (NVDRS) and unintentional overdoses (SUDORS) in the State of Maine. Additionally, he serves as a support staff member for the Maine Overdose Review Panel where he compiles records and coordinates case reviews. His lengthy medical focused background and passion for helping others is utilized in these positions. After obtaining his degrees from the University of Maine, he began working at the Margaret Chase Smith Policy in 2021 and has been exploring the field of public health.
