Courage to Run 5k (Postponed)

Hosted by Maine NEW Leadership to celebrate the 2020 wave of Maine women running for office and to flex our literal and figurative muscle!

About this Event:

Since 2018, women have been getting civically active and running for office like never before. Not only that, women are running with the mindset, resilience, vision, courage and care needed to transform our country for the better.

Join a powerful community of political players and civic believers, candidates and advocates to elected officials as we celebrate the 2020 wave of women running for office.

Q: What is the refund policy?

There are no refunds for this event. Thanks for supporting a fabulous cause!

Q: Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

A: Life happens. If you are unable to attend and want to transfer your ticket, contact organizers with your name and your replacement’s complete information, including full name, email and cell number. We cannot change t-shirt sizes.

Q: Where does the money go?

A: Courage to Run is full tilt about celebrating and elevating the individuals, organizations and communities committed to building the mindset, resilience, vision, courage and care needed to be healthy and effective in politics today.

Net proceeds go back out to support this growing movement. Q: How do I train?

A: Get 5K and Election Day ready with our FREE Courage to Run app! Download for iOS devices. It includes evidence-based mental, physical and leadership skill drills that build the literal and figurative muscle to cross the finish line strong.

Q. How do I get there?

A. The Courage to Run will start and end at Alford Stadium. There is plenty of on-site parking. Our volunteers will be well positioned throughout campus to direct you, in addition to signage. You can access the campus map here.
