Megan Bailey
Research Associate
Megan Bailey joined the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center in 2017. Her research interests include the role of social capital in economic development and decision-making in rural areas; local food systems; and the influence of information campaigns on attitudes and behavior. Prior to being with the MCSPC Megan worked in applied community and economic development through a fellowship with the Island Institute and later served as an economist contractor for NOAA. She is a member of a variety of local community development organizations and continues to remain involved with the Island Institute, serving as a mentor for new fellowship recipients.
