Director Rubin presenting at the Smart Prosperity Institute in Ottawa

Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center director, Jonathan Rubin, is presenting at the Smart Prosperity Institute at the University of Ottawa. The Smart Prosperity Institute is hosting the annual symposium of Greening Growth Partnerships & Economic and Environmental Policy Research Network where Rubin is highlighting his research titled “Reducing GHG Emissions in Transport: State Best Practices and Experiences.”

The Smart Prosperity Institute is a national research network and policy think tank that is based at the University of Ottawa. Their mission is to deliver world-class research and work with public and private partners—all to advance practical policies and market solutions for a stronger, cleaner economy. Some of the initiatives undertaken by the Smart Prosperity Institute include Building the Circular Economy, Canada’s Transition to a Low-Carbon Economy, Valuing and Protecting Nature, Accelerating Clean Innovation in Canada, and Economic Tools for Cities and Communities.
