
Now Accepting Applications for the Maine Policy Scholars Program
The Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center is now accepting applications for the Maine Policy Scholars Program. This is a competitive scholarship program for students from all seven UMS campuses to carry out year-long research projects on topics relevant to the state of Maine. Policy Scholars are supported by a $1,500 scholarship from the Maine Community Foundation, with an additional $1,000 available for travel expenses. This scholarship runs from January to November 2020.
If you are a student interested in any aspect of public policy, we encourage you to apply. Applications are taken by faculty advisors on each of the UMS campuses until October 18. Please find the faculty advisor below for each campus and contact them before October 15 to begin the application process and express your interest in the program.
