Apply for Summer Internships Now

Applications are open for the Maine Government Summer Internship Program for summer 2019. We anticipate approximately 50 positions will be available in agencies of Maine state government and in town and city governments over a wide range of job categories. Full time, paid internships will run May 28 through August 16, for a total of 12 weeks.

Job areas include education, engineering, social media, conservation, law, data analysis, finance, and everything in between. All majors may apply.

To be eligible, students must be completing at least their second year of college and be either a Maine resident or attending a college or university in Maine. Most interns will be placed in the Augusta area. A select number of internships will be available in locations which may include Bowdoinham, Caribou, Gray, Saco, Union, Sanford, Vassalboro, Presque Isle, Portland, Bangor, Bethel and others.
